Doggie Chaw

This was an illustration for a new line of doggie comestibles called, you guessed it, Pork Chomps. This was a really great project because: a) I love dogs.  b) I love dog treats.  and c) The design company and art director were awesome to work with. Click on “more” to see a little bit of how I created this in 3d.

Here’s the wireframe of the character and logo.

And here they are shaded so you can start to see the forms a little better.

And here’s a little render test I did of the eyes area after setting up the lighting and materials.

And here’s the final image again. Click on it for a bigger, nicer, more chomperiffic version.

Thanks Bert!

Hey Curtis, this is the main blog site. http://www.breadwig.com I keep the blogspot just so it’s easier to comment on other blogger sites, etc. Thanks for the kind words!

Pork bellied dogs are going to be the new hot commodity. Very clean, crisp and delicious looking art.

We just bought a pork chomps bone for our new puppy, Ellie. I did think maybe I had seen that design before though. Lo and behold, it is indeed a breadwig creation.

Ha! Yes it is! Our dogs love those things.
