a vinyl cubic pig for your office?
June 11th, 2007So, I’m putting together a website where I can pitch some of my vinyl toy design ideas based on my 3d illustrations. Yeah, it’s weird, but what the hey. Anyway, this is just a test to see if I can embed video. Hopefully it works ok. In fact, please let me know if it does or doesn’t.
This is a design based on my grrr-ing piggy. This is the Grunting Cubic Pig. Wouldn’t you like him sitting on your car’s dash board, or on your knick knack shelf? Propping a cheeto up on your desk? Sitting on your shoulder during the big presentation?

Mike, thanks! I hope someday I can get you one!
Keith, I was thinking of Quadrillatic Pig too. Although maybe that would work better for the quail.

Aww, he`s cute. But I would smooth him out a tiny bit. I don`t know that`s just me. The video works though!

OMG! Awesome pig toy!! But right now I’m on a dilema: will the bunnies toys be released soon? I think a chubby rabbit toy will beat the piggy toy… it’s just a tought… For now i’ll want 3 pigs then. It’s the right number for pigs, you know?

Cristina, I’ll be putting up a smoothed version of him too. I want to have both. The cubic version is definitely more abstract, but still hints at the essence of what it is to be a porcine digital puppet in the modern world of overly obsequious advertising slogans. Wow, that sounded almost impressive didn’t it? I’ll have to include that in his packaging description.

Yeah, I like the subdivided/smoothed version as well. If this hits the market, I’m definitely going to buy it. =p

Thanks Alden. Yep, I’m going to have to post the smooth turn real soon. Thanks for stopping by!
