Here’s a character from a new children’s book I’m illustrating. All the main characters are dogs, so I’m excited. I like dogs. Anyway, here’s one of the characters. Click on “more” for some, well, more.  Here’s the initial character design sketch. Iddn’t he cute?

No, not a twinkie silly.  I did this awhile ago, but believe it or not, this illustration was actually produced wall sized and installed in the lobby of a Seattle Ad Agency.

So, this funky cool blues band from Finland saw my The Last Cow illustration and decided to change their name to The Last Cow and asked if they could use my illustration. I did this t-shirt design for the youth group at my church.  Yeah, they’re a cool bunch.

Yep. You guessed it. I’ve been too busy to do any new illustrations. Didn’t stop me from revisiting this one though and hopefully tweakin’ it for the better.

So I had this illustration from an old Drawergeeks, and I was never fully satisfied with the way it was lit, or its materials. Well I’ve been using custom Mental Ray shaders a lot more recently,  so I decided to give it another whack. I’m liking this a lot better. Much more moody/interesting I think.  Click it for ze biggie version.

Here I hopefully am. My first few attempts ended up looking like the guitarist from Genesis.  Other than both having beards, Mike Rutherford and I really don’t look much like each other.
