Potted Neanderthal

I'm honestly not quite sure what happened here. Caveman was the latest topic for drawergeeks and this idea just sort of came to me while I was in the shower. I also listened to Devin Townsend while making this, so maybe that has something to do with it. Who knows. Anyway, lots of progress stuff...

Modeling for beans.

So, Pantelope.com, (they sell some of my t-shirt designs), decided they want to show examples of people actually wearing their shirts on their website. Well, I've been told I have a certain "quality" and I've done 3d computer modeling, so why not apparel modeling? Plus, I have my own camera! So I went ahead...

Littered with kitties

I just finished this illustration up for none other than Meow Mix!  Wheee. They commisioned several illustrators to do new versions of their character. Unfortunately mine didn't make the final cut, so you won't be seeing it on any bags of kitty chow anytime soon. But it was fun to make anyways. Click the orange MORE...

Snow White was the theme for the latest Drawergeeks. I'm not exactly sure what I was thinking here other than I was sort of wondering what it would be like if Snow White was lounging around at home. You know, watching TV, snacking on her new box of mail order apples, not being able to...

Image based lighting and my new camera. Wheeee!

I know, I know, this isn't really too artsy, or heck, even fartsy, but I've been having so much fun with my new digital SLR camera that I had to share. Here's some tests I've been doing with creating my own HDR (high dynamic range) images and using them to light scenes in Maya. (more…)

Atilla

These were some character designs for a friend's children's book. Sharpies, they are my best friend...
